Water
Temperature, oxygen, waves and pH come from monitoring buoys on West Okoboji and Big Spirit Lake, operated by Iowa Lakeside Laboratory and the Okoboji Protective Association, and published on WQData LIVE. They report about every 10 minutes.
Fishing report
Ramp conditions, the report comments and the per-species ratings are written by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and reproduced here as they published them.
Weather and lake level
Current conditions and the forecast behind the score come from the National Weather Service, observed at Spencer Municipal Airport. Lake levels come from USGS water data.
The score
